Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born. When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is usually grey in color, having a long trunk with large ivory tusks protruding from each side of its mouth. Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre. For many years people have used the strength of these poweful animals to move trees and heavy logs. Elephant has been and is a vital tool for people to do many things that would normally be imposs-ible. 1.教师教学水平的制约
教师作为课堂教学的组织者、引导者和英语知识的教学者，教师教学水平的高低直接影响学生的学习效率。现实情况中，有的教师或是学历低，或是没经验，或是陈旧老套等等，根本无法满足学生的学习需要，阻碍学生能力的发展。
2.教师教学方法的制约
“教学有法，教无定法。”恰当的教学方法能够使教学达到事半功倍的效果。这就要求教师具备高超的教学方法和技巧。然而在实际教学中，教师往往都不注重作文教学方法和技巧的研究，重复传统教学方式，致使学生丧失写作信心和兴趣。
二、初中英语作文教学策略
1.教师要更新教学观念
随着素质教育和课程教育改革的不断深入和发展，传统应试教育的理念已然不能适应当前的时代潮流。因此，初中英语教师应转变观点，对于英语作文的'教学有一个全面、深刻、科学的认识，绝不能为了短期的目的，急功近利地让学生进行一些写作模板训练，而且应该有效结合学生的长短期发展，着力于激发学生的写作兴趣，启迪学生思维，促进学生英语水平和综合素质的提高。
2.教师要注重夯实基础
“万丈高楼，平地起”，如果说作文是一栋大厦，那么词汇就是这栋大厦的砖瓦，语法就是大厦的框架，二者缺一不可。英语基础知识是写作的基础，教师必须注重采用多种教学方法，紧抓学生基础知识的教学。实践教学中，要求每一个学生牢牢掌握一个单元的单词、词组、习惯用语和句型，并且能够灵活应用。常常设置教学练习，帮助学生巩固知识，提高他们的英语思维和表达能力。
3.教师要注重教学方法

There were so many tourist areas in my plan list, like Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Perking University and so on.
