暑假里，我完成了各项作业，妈妈说：“我觉得你的听力不行，这个暑假，如果有时间，你应该提高一下自己的听力。”
于是，晚上我们就去买英语碟片。我们先到新华书店，可是找了半天也没找到。到了席珠书屋，一下子就看到书柜里摆满了好多，妈妈挑了我最喜欢的两盒——《白雪公主》和《狮子王》。太高兴了!
一回家，我就迫不及待了拿出碟片，不停地催促妈妈快点给我放，妈妈放上碟片，很快，屏幕上就立即出现精美的.画面：白雪公主来到了我的面前。不一会儿，我就入了迷，好像和动画里的白雪公主一起进入了一个梦幻王国，我还听到了七个小矮人唱的歌“ Hip,Hip……”一幅幅美丽的画面，一幕暮精彩丰富的内容全都浮现在我的眼前，这是一个关于爱的故事，更是一个关于美丽和善良战胜邪恶与嫉妒的故事，片中的继母不能忍受任何人比她漂亮，她千方百计地想害死美满的白雪公主，但最终她的计划还是失败了，善良最终战争了邪恶。
这张碟片它既能让我提高听力。又能让我学到知识，真是一举二得。

我的妈妈是英语专业的，有时候电话一响，可能就要接上半个小时的电话！那个时候，我和小弟弟就会好奇地看着妈妈，“叽里呱啦”的，我们可就听懂一个词：“Hello”哦！
我和小弟弟商量了一下，吵着嚷着要妈妈教我们英语，妈妈不假思索地答应了。可是妈妈学的是外贸英语，跟少儿英语是风马牛不相及的啊！在我们的软磨硬泡下，妈妈制定了一系列“教学计划”：买来一套套少儿题材的教科书还有光盘、在网上搜索一些儿歌，精心为我们英语课程做准备。
开始上课了，我和小弟弟还有小伙伴们坐在小板凳上，认真地听妈妈讲课。妈妈上的课可真生动呀！首先，妈妈帮每个小朋友都取了英文名字。然后，妈妈会玩一些游戏，让我们在游戏中快乐地学习英语单词；再者，妈妈的课堂还有儿歌可以听，这些歌都是耳熟能详的，有的是中文歌改编的.，有的是国外的英文歌，我都特别爱听。最后，妈妈的课堂是轻松的，我们可以自由地发挥想象，气氛非常活跃，但是我们都学进去了。
上了妈妈的英语课，我对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣，在学校的英语课堂也表现得更加自信了。
