This week our school organized an activity of working in New Century Children’s Store and I think I’ve gained a lot from this experience .Before I took part in this activity , I knew nothing about what work really meant . I believed that my parents should do everything for me though they have to work hard to support the family . I even thought they were leading an easier life than me , as I had to learn so many subjects . This week I have experienced working as a shop assistant , which proved no easy job . After a day’s work , I often went back home , tired . Along with them there are a number of beautiful places of interest, such as, Zhaojun Village, Qu Yuan Temple and Baidi Town.

Since the reform and open policies began to be carried out, great changes have taken place and the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River have taken on a new look. 这天，是五年级开学以来，第一堂英语课。大家都期待着黄老师的精彩笑话，“同学们，不要再留恋暑假的美好时光，赶快切换成英语频道！有些人的肉体还坐在这里，魂还在天上飘着呢。还有些人不想切换英语频道，我将送他英语大礼包，里面有许多英语习题，让他重新修好大脑，再切换成英语频道。”哈哈，我们被黄老师说的话，逗得捧腹大笑，乐得不可开交。她又说：“同学们，请把眼睛看向我看，不看的话，小心让我把你的.眼珠拿出来，擦擦亮，耳朵不听我讲话的，就把耳朵揪下来，帮你擦一擦。好了，言归正传，让我们来学第一单元。”
黄老师在黑板上写下了标题“Goldilocks and three bears”。真正的英语课堂开始了。这篇英语短文，其实是一篇童话，在黄老师讲到主角Goldilocks品尝汤味儿的时候，拿出了三个水杯，假装是汤碗，开始喝汤了。第一碗汤很冰，当黄老师喝下汤时，“啊！”叫了起来，还张开了嘴巴，摇晃着身体，眼神也象被冰住似的，瞪着眼睛，只往前看，看样子，黄老师就像是在寒冷的冬天被冻住了，她说“This soup is too cold ”。黄老师继续品尝了下一碗汤，“呀！”黄老师又大叫一声，接着用手扇风到嘴里，脸蛋微红，舌头都伸出来了，可想而知，这碗汤肯定很烫，黄老师又像到了夏天，天热的都可以在地上煎鸡蛋了，黄老师说“This soup is too hot！ ”，黄老师尝了尝最后一碗汤，竟一下把所有的汤，都倒进了嘴里，喝了个精光，还不忘舔舔嘴巴周围，看看还有没有剩余的汤汁，也许，黄老师又到了春天或者秋天，不冷也不热。这时，她又做了个享受的表情，并说“This soup is just right ”我们都笑开了。
