在我们的求学路上我们会遇到很多的老师，很多的好老师，在我们的学习和做人方面都教会我很多，在我曾经遇到过很多好老师中，最开明，最能够包容学生的，最能为学生着想的就是正在教授我们的英语老师。他从不摆老师的架子，平等地尊重每一个学生，从不轻易体罚学生，有时，某个学生调皮实在是太过分了，英语老师也只是皱着眉头，轻轻地敲一下课桌，这样一来，就有许多学生认为英语老师是软柿子了，结果可想而知，做出了许多荒唐可笑的.事来。
英语老师上课是非常有特色的，标准的美式口语，千变万化的面部表情，富有激情的手势，我并不喜欢英语，但是很喜欢英语老师的课，就是为了享受老师那有趣的样子。他的脾气实在是太温和了，在他课堂上都不好意思违反纪律，因为那样实在太让人羞愧了。然而，也有不懂事的。有位同学竟公然在课堂上玩手机，由于操作失误发出了铃声。这铃声应该深深地伤害到了英语老师。他非常冷漠地说了一句：你们玩吧。这课也就用不着上了。说完，表情痛苦纠结地走出了教室。
那一节没有善终的课，让我的心情很沉重。我也曾在他的课堂上走过神，开过小差，也有小动作，一想到这些，我的眼泪都快下来了。
后来，我与英语课代表一起去向英语老师道歉，老师一摆手，说：没事，没事！他的宽容大度让我们更加羞愧，我对他油然产生了一种敬畏。
下一节课，英语老师竟然当众反省了自己错误，说自己太情绪化了，并向所有同学道歉，语重心长地同我们讲了许多心里话。他认为师生之间应该是平等的，他是这样说的，也是这样做的。能够向学生承认错误的老师已经不多见了，他却那样的真诚道歉。
他曾经对我说过这样的话，不要常常把自己与别人做比较，关键是自己要和自己比，努力了就行！
唯一不喜欢英语老师的一点，就是他特别爱抽烟，如果英语老师能戒烟，那该有多好呀！
