我的奶奶今年已经60岁了。
今天我们给奶奶庆60大寿，妈妈买了一个蛋糕，我们集体唱生日歌“happybirthdaytoyou”，奶奶高兴得合不拢嘴，咿咿呀呀地跟着哼起来，并私下让我教她英语。我爽快地答应了，心想:奶奶都年过花甲了，还淘气。
第二天早上，当我还在床上做着春秋美梦时，奶奶早已在床边叫唤着我的乳名。我没好气地拉开被子冲奶奶嚷嚷，可她却好，一点都不生气，反而脸上的笑都快堆成褶子了：“乖孙女，不是说好今天教奶奶说英语吗？怎么，能忘了？”
经奶奶一提醒，我才想起有这回事。“奶奶，您都这把年纪了，还学什么英语呀？您又不出国。”“我的乖孙女，奶奶不出国，可奶奶也是个时尚的老太太呀。”说着，便来扯我被子。经不起她的软磨硬泡，告别了我的'温柔乡。
一切就绪，开始了我人生的第一次教学生涯。我，这位严肃的英语小老师，双手一叉腰：“奶奶，今天我是你的teacher，你是student。”“丝，丝什么？”“student，就是学生的意思。”
这个单词太长，我想奶奶一时半会是学不会的。所以，打算从最简单地入手。
“奶奶，这是苹果，念apple。来，跟我念，apple。”“apple。”“奶奶，我们老师说，念这个单词的时候嘴巴要圆一点，你的太扁了。Apple。”“不对，不对，再试一次。”
“奶奶，是Apple，念成了艾pe，这是不对的。”“奶奶！算了算了，我再教你一个绝招吧。看我的。”说完，我拿起笔，在Apple这个单词下面写上两个中文字：艾抛。
“奶奶，这个办法我们班那些男生老用了，虽然老师不允许，但是效果好。你读读看。”“艾抛。”“对了，奶奶，真棒。”
听我一句夸，我这奶奶呀，眼睛都快眯成一条缝了。不过，这大好的周末，一个上午就只教会了她一个单词。
“乖孙女，今天就学到这里吧。奶奶得去做饭了。明天，你继续教我。苹果，艾抛。”望着奶奶一路小跑地走向厨房，我这心里直犯嘀咕：奶奶倒是兴致高涨，恐怕我的日子，就不好过了。

寒假里，妈妈带我去学剑桥少儿英语，那里有许多小朋友，还有我的同学呢！
星期一的下午，妈妈和我来到教室里，看见有许多小朋友在玩耍，还有我的同学。上课了，英语老师一进教室，原来是我们班的英语老师，她站在讲台上，用英语给我们问好，给我们打招呼。老师叫我们翻到第一页，我看到上面都写的是问好、打招呼，老师教我们读，我们读错了，就给我们纠正，读了一遍又一遍后，我们渐渐读熟了，这种方法真管用。翻到第二页，我们又读熟了“上午”、“下午”、“晚上”的.英语单词。这样连续上了三节课，我们学到了许多英语，还会写大写字母A和小写字母a，收获可真多呀！
经过寒假的英语学习，我的英语知识就越多了，现在我向大家问好：Happy new year！
学英语作文 篇3
大学英语作文是衡量学生英语综合水平和应用能力的一个重要指标，也是大学四级考试的一个重要内容。在整个四级卷面（满分为100分）中占15分，考生在这一部分的得分直接决定其四级成绩。近年来国家教委又明确规定，四级考试中，如果学生作文得零分，那么即使前面得了满分（即85分），其总成绩仍将视为不及格。因此写好一篇文章对参加四级考试的学生来说可谓至关重要，不容轻视。
作文不理想的原因很多，总的看来主要有以下几个方面的问题：
第一、英语底子太薄。底子太薄主要表现为对语法知识掌握不牢及对基本词汇记忆不清。它包括定冠词和不定冠词的滥用，主谓不一致，单复数搞不清楚（例如：a people等），时态和语态混乱及词语的各种形式掌握不牢。有的学生文章写得很长，字迹也很工整，但是读完之后只觉得思路紊乱，支离破碎，没有一个完整的句子，所以也就只能得两三分以慰劳苦。
第二、词汇量太小，且对已学词汇记忆不清。除了底子太薄这个历史原因之外，学生词汇量太小也是一个不容忽视的原因。有的学生汉语功底很好，用汉语作文，他们就会思如泉涌，下笔千言，但是一到用英语作文就好像被缚住了手脚，不知如何下手。比如99年1月的作文，题目是＂Don’t Hesitate to Say No＂, 大部分学生能够领会题意并能按给出的汉语提纲作文，但有的'学生连Hesitate是什么意思都不知道，更不用说在此基础上再作发挥了。另外有的学生虽然对题目及要求非常清楚，但是因为自己所掌握的词汇所限，无法用一些合适的词来表达自己的思想，于是只有绕着题目翻来覆去乱说一气，再加上这次出的作文提纲就象一道绕口令：
1、 别人请求帮助时，在什么情况下我们会说“不”；
2、 为什么有些人在该说“不”的时候不说“不”；
3、 该说“不”时不说“不”的坏处。
所以在说过一个又一个的＂No＂再加几个＂Yes＂之后，阅卷老师也给搞得云里雾里，头脑发胀，最后也只得酌情给个两三分罢了。还有的一写到纸上就是错字别字满篇，有些词汇的用法也走了样。其中最典型的就是for example写成example for , for instance写成for a instance, illegal 写成unlegle, 而such as, in spite of 等许多短语则是乱用一气。词汇的有限导致许多学生有口难言，欲说不能，对他们来说，用英语作文实在是一件很头疼的事情。
第三、缺乏思想，深度不够。99年1月的考试中很大一部分学生不能得高分还有一个重要的原因，就是他们的作文缺乏思想，深度不够。很多学生虽然已是大二的学生，甚至是大三大四的学生，但是他们在作文当中所表现出的智力水平与阅历似乎只相当于一个初高中生。写出的文章着眼点低，视野狭窄。作为学生，作文着眼于学生之间的关系，反映学生之间的帮忙，这并不为过，但是这种帮忙不能仅仅限于在考试当中的帮忙，而且对这种帮忙都是一句话 ＂Don’t hesitate to say ’No’＂。更有相当一部分学生在文章中写帮忙就是这一次四级考试当中的帮忙。与在校考生比较起来，社会考生应该多了许多社会阅历，也多了一些见解，但是举出来的例子也是范围太窄，大多是讲老板或领导让干的事只能答 ＂Yes＂而不能回答 ＂No＂。其实除了这些，可举的例子很多，关键是要抓住实质。
第四、缺乏应试技巧。缺乏应试技巧，主要表现为有些学生在篇首或篇尾有喊口号倾向（如Dear Friends, let’s not hesitate to say＂No＂）,或画蛇添足,本来文章该结束
了却偏要罗罗嗦嗦再来两句多余的话；另外一些学生字数把握不准，不是写得太短就是写得太长，写得太短的会因为字数不够而失分，太长的又因为阅卷老师任务繁重，时间窘迫，不能因为一篇文章乱了整个阅卷节奏。还有一些学生的笔迹（尤其是用纯蓝墨水钢笔和出水太浅的圆珠笔写的），让阅卷老师怎么也看不清楚。
以上是四级英语考试中常见的几个问题，更是我们平时英语作文当中应该注意的几个方面。要写好一篇英语文章，关键要在平时下功夫，打好牢固的基础，但是如果这一功夫在使用的时候不讲技巧，不但不能事半功倍地发挥出最高技巧，取得最佳成绩，甚至可能出现与实际水平相去甚远的低成绩。因此，上面讲到的四个问题应该是相辅相成，缺一不可的，做到了这几点，写出一篇好的大学英语四级作文应该是不难的。

But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets.
Nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.Everything has changed since liberation. The people, led by the Party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. They have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. They have an assembly hall and a hospital. Along the river they have built offices, hotels and parks. A lot of factories have sprung up.

Lu Xun is also one of my favourite writers. I respect him. He is one of the most famous writers in China. He wrote a lot of literary works. He attacked the social mores in that time, and in his works, many people were known very well, such as “Ah Q”“Kong Yi ji”.
I like those writers because I also want to be a great writer like them. I like reading and writing, and I often write some articles in my free time. Though I don’t have good literary talent or a large vocabulary, I spend lots of time reading and writing to improve my writing skills.
