Diligence Leads To Success All of us admire the people who are successful because we want to be the one of them. But when it comes to the question that which factor leads to success,talent or diligence? In my viewpoint,diligence leads to success. As the old saying:No pain,no gain. We will get nothing but only waste our life if we only daydream instead of working hard. Those people who are lazy and sloppy to their work and never focus on their work's importance will never succeed. Thomas Edison said:Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Edison himself is the best example:Edison was born in a poor family and he only studied three months in a primary school.
After then,he began to make money by selling newspapers and fruits when he was only 12.Although Edison wasn't a student anymore,he still loved reading books and learning. In 1878,Edison began to research in the light bulb. He spent about two years using thousands of materials make thousands of experiments to choose the best material for the light bulb. 今天，可是一个大日子，英语期中考!我最害怕的就是英语这科了，成绩总是上不去，从四年级开始，我的英语成绩都是八十几分，我一看见“八”这个字就觉得很反感，就很不开心，总是看起来不顺眼，今天，真是人生的坎坷啊!我会不会掉陷阱呐?
我很早就来到学校，拿出英语书没多久，班主任就来监考了。我真是大吃一惊，连给我们复习的时间都没有，岂不是考好的概率很低?“早点来，是因为要阅卷十分钟!”黄老师说，原来是这样，要阅卷的啊!
开始发卷子了，我仔细看着每一题，心中突然暗喜：啊，就这几题啊，简单简单!我笑嘻嘻的，又有一张笔试部分的卷子，我又看了看，哈哈，就这样啊，简单简单!
开始考了，我的耳朵像兔子的耳朵一样，两只耳朵竖了起来，一顶得听得一个字母不漏，这样才能做到效率高，写得快啊!开始啦，我轻松自在地写着，直到第四题，我有难了!听力的录音好快啊，我一个字也没听清，勉强做了三题，又一次，我还是似懂非懂，只好靠自己昨天的复习能力啦，我开始推理，开始排除，开始使用进去读，哈!这题终于解了，看似不难，其实很难!
听力部分结束，看读写部分啦，选择题都是找关键词，还好昨天有听讲，不然选择题就是一道陷阱，我哇哇哇地找坑跳呢!然后是判断对错，哈哈，短文很简单，是课内的，我一下子就做完啦。还有一张卷子，是课外的阅读短文，我瞄了瞄同桌的，我的`同桌是英语大师，做得很快的哟!谁也比不过，就算神仙下凡也得思想一阵子!我开始认真起来，终于，课外阅读做完了，现在迎接的是最难的一题：“制作周末计划”，要用英语表达，还有几些关键词哦!我想了一阵子，就开始写了，很快，我写完了，又瞄了瞄我的好同桌试卷，哇塞!她写得真够多啊，不愧是英语大师啊!
结束了，我真心希望能考好，以后要认真听讲啦，就不会有这么多的坎坷和陷阱了!
