On 31st August, was a day like any other schooldays, except that the teachers, instead of being bogged down by assignments were besieged by gifts, flowers and cards from the ever-grateful students.
The hall was beautifully decorated with colourful balloons and streamers. The Class Chairman and Vice-Chairman were given the honour to invite the teachers personally to the hall. With each teachers arrival, the students roared and cheered for them.
The concert comprised of dances and song performances that were all put up by our very own talented students! The audience even crooned to the rhythm of the songs. Our students also boogied down with slick dance steps while the Balinese dancers impressed all with their delightful costumes and grace.
The culmination was of course the last item that was put up by some teachers. They sang a song entitled, "I love to teach the world to sing". It was very heart warming and the performance received the loudest applauds from the audience.

In recent years， the volunteering spirit has spread among the Chinese people， especially among youngsters. According to a survey， in 20xx， there were about 1，700，000 volunteers who offered service for Olympic Games. Actually， an increasing number of people bee volunteers in China every year.
Volunteering actions are of tremendous benefits to both those in need and the society. Olympic Games are a good example. As is known to all， volunteers played an active role in Beijing Olympic Games. Without them， it would be a tough task to hold this un-precedent Olympic Games. Therefore， we can say that it was those volunteers who ensured the success of these games.
As modern college students， we should get actively involved in volunteering activities. By participating， we can learn how to work well in a team， how to improve our interpersonal skills and organizational ability. Undoubtedly， all of these are critical for our person growth.
So， we should take this chance to learn and to grow.

On March 5th, I attended a Charity Bazaar, which was held by the Students Union.
All revenues raised from this event were donated to poor children through the organizer.
was present and made a speech to thank all participants for their continuously supporting poor students. All kinds of beatiful handicrafts attracted plenty of visitors. The Students Union also sold the Chinese fans and paper-cutting and other Chinese traditional handcrafts.
I think the event this year was a huge success knowing that almost 200 students visited during the first hour only. I bought some DIY chocolates and candies, several books and greeting cards. I hope I can try my best to help the poor students to relieve them of financial burden.
At the same time, I am personally touched and heartened to see the enthusiasm and selflessness displayed by our fellow classmates whose efforts collectively made this event a great success. The many happy faces of our kind classmates at the event is a wonderful reflection of the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork - working together for the underprivileged classmates future.
