When I was a child, there was only one black and white TV set in our village. And I don’t know what’s computer. I often went to school on foot. If I wanted to connect with the distant friends or relatives, the most convenient way is writing letters, which may lost on the way or take a lot of time to reach the destination.
However, nowadays, there are four color televisons in my home and most people have their own computers. And now cars are seen everywhere. 一篇作文交给老师后要一个多星期后才能拿到，等拿到手，学生早已忘掉当初是怎样写的了。再看看从头到尾的红圈圈和各种标记，学生对自己的写作能力总是表示怀疑，积极性大受挫伤，进而也对英语作文失去了信心和兴趣。，怎样批改和点评学生作文才能激发学生的写作热情，增强他们的自信心，并使他们及时了解自己作品的缺陷，通过修改和纠错来使自己掌握写作的基本技巧，复习语言运用知识，最终达到提高写作能力的目的，这些就是我在教学过程中一直思考的问题。
一、 确立以肯定为主的评价风格，着力挖掘优点，激发学生的写作热情。
1、兴趣与自信对英语学习的作用是众所周知的。而二者的产生和保持在一定程度上依赖于付出努力后所获得的成就感。因此，学生每完成一篇作文，我们都应尽量发现其可取之处，给予恰当的表扬并提出中肯的意见，让学生期待下一次完成得更好。每一次肯定、欣赏的评价，都是帮助学生挖掘其内动力的最好的'催化剂。所以，在评价学生作文时，我主要采取朋友式的交流方式，探讨学生文章立意的的新颖之处、思想的深度、结构是否清晰、段落是否分明、语言表达是否准确生动。
2、每一次习作后我都选择几篇文体规范、结构完整、段落分明、语言流畅的作文作为范文在全班朗读并展示。选择时，我不受分数的局限，只要有特色就行。讲评时我大力表扬并宣读他们的作品，从构思、谋篇布局到语言运用诸方面充分肯定作文的优点，指出他们在分析审题、谋篇成段、语言运用等方面的过人之处，并以此归纳总结这一类主题作文中常用的结构、句型和习惯表达。这样不但可以使学生多接触优秀的范文，还可以激发被选中学生的积极性，并促进未入选者。事实证明，许多学生你追我赶，甚至暗中叫劲，都想让自己的作品成为下一次的范文。
3、除了优秀学生的作文展示，我还特别注意基础较差学生的每一次进步。他们只要在结构、段落、思想或用词用句上有较好的表现，我都给他们以“笑脸”或“五角星”。在点评学生作文，总结他们的经典句时，我也是尽量将基础较差学生的立意新颖的地方稍作改动在全班点名宣讲，这对于这样的学生是极大的鼓励，也使他们增强了自信，消除了对写作的恐惧心理，并渐渐对英语作文增添了好感。
二、运用多种形式的批改方法，立体评价，分类指导。
1、重视批改书面表达练习。对学生书面表达作业的批改是课堂写作教学的自然延伸。对作文的批改不仅局限于订正学生所犯的语法错误上，而是从两个层次上加以批改，即语篇层次和语法层次。既改内容和结构，又改语法和用词错误，既要求行文流畅，又要求逻辑性强，结构严谨。事实上，批改作文时，要考虑以下几个问题：1)主题是否突出，是否有中心句。2)段落安排是否合理。3)语言是否流畅、合理。4)是否有重复使用的词语和表达方式。5)是否有拼写错误。6)文章格式是否正确。7)文章的开头和结尾是否合理、正确。8)文章是否有条理性和逻辑性。
2、根据对不同个体水平的了解，采取不同修改方式。对无法自行纠错的学生可直接删除错误表达并给出正确表达，如果时间允许的话，最好采取面批的形式;对基础好的学生可以就用一些学生知道的符号将错误标识出来，交给学生自己去感悟并纠正，这样做比老师直接写出正确表达的效果要好得多。不过对学生纠正后的作文还应定期检查。
3、在作文批改中调动学生参与。由于班级人数多，学生水平参差不齐，作业量大等种种原因，教师往往懒于动笔。如果不批改，作文中的错误得不到及时纠正，写得再多也收效甚微;但在批改过程中，如果抓住学生的错误不放，有错必纠，也是事倍功半。我们可以让学生动手参与，互相评改后从中选出好、中、差的作文进行批阅，从中找出学生作文中存在的普遍性问题，记录下来，课堂上进行总结性评讲，让学生自己动手改正后再给老师看。也可以给出连贯性欠佳的习作(隐去学生姓名)，让学生自己动手动脑参评审阅，或小组评改，最后再由老师组织集体讲评。如果学生能准确识别和修改错误，他们对上下文的连贯性也就能掌握运用了。这样老师节省了时间，学生则通过动手、动脑纠正错误而印象深刻、提高更快。
4、在重视作文内容的同时关注形式。在批改过程中，我们也应对学生作文的字迹是否工整、布局是否完美、卷面是否整洁作出评价，使学生养成良好的书写习惯。
三、注重作文批改的整体效应，强调对作文的讲评。
1、选取优秀作文历数其长。每次批改后选出一些较好的作文，和学生一起点评。从构思、谋篇布局到语言运用诸方面充分肯定作文的优点，指出他们在分析审题、谋篇成段、语言运用等方面的过人之处，并以此归纳总结这一类主题作文中常用的结构、句型和习惯表达。这样可以使学生多接触优秀的范文，并掌握各种文体作文的套用结构和语言。
2、集纳作文中谬误予以纠正。我们批改时要捕捉带有普遍性的语法错误，并及时反馈有关的信息。在审阅和评改完学生所写的短文后，我们可以把学生短文中所出现的典型的具有代表性的错误设置成短文改错，让学生在审阅和评判中订正自己的错误。利用这样的练习可以训练学生发现、判断、纠正自己所写作文错误的能力以及在语篇中综合运用英语的能力。
3、推行互动式讲评。我们也可以将几篇含有典型错误的作文整篇印发给学生，或制作成课件(不告知作者)，要求他们像老师一样批改同伴的作文，指导他们从文章的审题、结构的处理、段落的划分、语言的运用、书写的工整各方面作出评判。也可请学生到台上来和台下学生一起对所选作文进行修改。这样全班学生可以同时参与，他们亲眼目睹台上同学的操作过程：同伴发现、纠正了错误，他们为之高兴;同伴遗漏错误，他们为之着急并急于提醒;同伴将正确的地方改错了，他们因为没能看出来而遗憾不已。这种全体参与的形式极大地调动了同学们的写作和评改热情，同时加深他们对文体格式的了解和对错误的认识。
4、将评改作为一个中间环节，而不是一个终结环节。我们可以参与学生的写作过程，及时向学生提供指导性的反馈，并鼓励学生反复修改作文，这样才能使我们的批改工作有效.

smiling shyly, she greeted me with how do you do.then, she continued her work, paying no more attention to me.what a stuck up fellow, i thought. then i began to examine the room. it was no different from any other room i had seen.but it had been thoroughly cleaned by my new roommate, no doubt.minutes later, i started to examine her. she was thin, short and dark. her hair was in a completely disastrous mess like a bunch of straw. her dirty clothes and tired look were clearly signs of a long journey. well, her 2shirt was too big for her and her trousers were a bit short, which made her look funny.furthermore, she wore a pair of rubber scandals, which were indeed out of fashion. in a word, she did not look like a smart freshman at all. a yokel, i concluded.
